Besides understanding the benefits of sharing cultural heritage collections online, the sharing your collections on Europeana Initiative portal will be discussed, too. In particular you will:
- Learn about metadata and the Europeana Data Model (EDM), the metadata standard adopted by Europeana:
- Get an an introduction to preparing effective digital content and metadata to be shared with Europeana
- Learn how to semantically enrich your data to facilitate discoverability
- Learn how to successfully associate the right licence to your digital content.

Maria Teresa Natale is a senior project manager and the coordinator of MUSEU HUB, notably the trusted aggregators of the Europeana Initiative/Data Space for Cultural Heritage supporting museums. MUSEU is managed by Michael Culture, a European trans sector and trans domain network for digital contents and its communities, and provides support to cultural institutions going digital, from information, advices for digitisation, aggregation, capacity building, reuse. Maria Teresa has more than 20 years of experience in EU projects related to Digital Cultural Heritage and is involved in several projects of Michael Culture. Her expertise is in digital collections, education, tourism and digital exhibitions. Strong experience in professional training. Strong expertise in technical coordination of EU projects.
