The Semmelweis Museum of the History of Medicine of the Hungarian National Museum (MNM SOM), in collaboration with the SHIFT Horizon Europe project, has introduced inclusive measures to accommodate diverse visitor groups. This initiative entails the development and implementation of innovative technological solutions to enhance accessibility and engagement within cultural heritage spaces. This week, we’re putting these technologies to the test with three workshops targeting people whom are either hearing impaired, visually impaired, or are on the autism spectrum.
These events will provide our technological partners with ample feedback to refine our inclusive technologies by asking our target groups for feedback about their museum experience and their needs during the visits.
