SHIFT Panel in Montenegro

The SHIFT project consortium was joined by heritage professionals from around Europe for an exciting panel discussion at the “Meet, See, Do 2024 – International Museum Conference that Makes the Difference” in Tivat, Montenegro. The conference was organized by the Balkan Museum Network, a SHIFT partner, and this year’s theme was “Safeguarding Cultural Heritage in the Time of Crisis”.

The panel discussed “How will SHIFT technologies help cultural heritage institutions make more engaging exhibitions and develop audience participation” on the second day of the conference, April 19, 2024, at the Municipality Tivat, Multimedia Hall.

Milena Milošević Micić from the Homeland Museum of Knjaževac facilitated the event, during which participants were able to discover SHIFT and its work, focusing on the benefits for cultural heritage institutions and the visually impaired community.

Representatives from three consortium partners (Rob Davies from The Heritage Management Organization, Dr. Andreas Bienert from Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, and Ioana Crihana from ANBPR Asociatia Nationala) as well as Dragos Neagu from Romania’s Braila Library, gave insights into their work and discussed the potential for enhancing future strategic directions.
