SHIFT marked the final few weeks with a series of events at the Digital Heritage 2025 World Expo and Congress in Siena, Italy, from 8–13th September 2025. As one of Europe’s leading initiatives for advancing digital transformation in cultural heritage, SHIFT showcase its innovative tools and results to an international audience of cultural heritage professionals, policymakers, and technologists.
The consortium organised the SHIFTing to Digital: CH Tools for Accessibility and Appeal from the SHIFT Project – SHIFT Workshop on the opening day of Digital Heritage. The next day the partners held a consortium meeting a project presentation and a networking lunch, attended by over 50 participatns in the conference, ranging from museum professionals to polity and decision makers.




We also joined a series of activities it organised along with its sister projects in the Digital Cultural Heritage Cluster. On the first day of the event the cluster organised an EU Policy Roundable, and onThursday 11th a Workshop on Data Collection and Reuse in Digital Heritage: Approaches and Results from the DCH Cluster.
