George Margetis from SHIFT partner FORTH addressed the 2024 ACM Europe Summer School on Accessible and Inclusive Technologies that took place June 24th – 27th at Birmingham’s City University.
Margetis spoke about XR accessibility and presented the SHIFT XR accessibility framework. Additionally, Katerina Valakou from FORTH led hands-on demo sessions for the attendees. SHIFT’s sister project, MuseIT, was also represented by the project coordinator, Nasrine Olson, providing an opportunity for productive discussions on potential collaborations between the two projects.
The annual summer school invites researchers, PhD students, and industry professionals interested in topics related to accessible computing, inclusive design, assistive technologies, and disability innovation.
